PDF File Troubleshooting Information
If you are experiencing problems viewing our pdf files here are some things you might try:
I am using Acrobat Reader 6 and am having problems. What is wrong?
When using Acrobat Reader 6 you may experience problems if you do not have Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 installed. This Service Pack may be downloaded for free at Microsoft.
I can view some pdf files but not others. What should I do?
This is usually caused by a slow internet connection or a large pdf file. To solve this problem, you can try to download the pdf file to your computer (see instructions below).
I am having problems with blank pdf files:
Try downloading the pdf file to your computer (see instructions below).
How do I download a pdf file to my computer?
Use your mouse to right-click on the link and select "Save Target As.." (Internet Explorer) or "Save Link As.." (Netscape). When the "Save As" dialog box is displayed, choose a location on your computer for the file. Remember where you saved the file so that you may find it later. Also be sure that the filename ends with a ".pdf" extension, as this will identify it as an Acrobat file. Browse to the file you downloaded to your computer and double-click it. Acrobat will launch and display the file.
The schematics and pictorials are fuzzy on screen. Why is this?
Computer monitors display files at a lower resolution. When you print the file it should be clear. You may also zoom in to areas on the schematic/pictorial to get a closer look.
I have tried the above solutions and am still having problems. What should I do?
When all else fails, try upgrading your Acrobat Reader to the most recent version. This can be downloaded for free from Adobe. If you are currently running the most recent version you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat Reader. If this does not fix your problem, email info@cyberfxdesign.com.
