Midian Electronics was founded in 1975 specializing in MTS, IMTS and Pulse Tone encoders and decoders. In 1981 Midian introduced its first voice scrambler. In addition to its extensive voice security and tone encoder and decoder lines, Midian's product line has continued to expand to include Interoperability, ANI Systems, Tone Remotes, Radio-Telephone Interconnects, Paging and Dialing products and more.

Interoperability Switch
Midian now offers the IS-2 interoperability Switch which supports trunking systems in addition to conventional and digital systems.
Simplex Repeater Makers
Midian has released its PR-10 and SVR-1 series simplex repeater makers. The PR-10 is available with selective repeat and the SVR-1 is available to plug into many radios.
